Mya Gough 18th International Symposium on Dendritic Cells 2026

Mya Gough

Mya Gough, PhD, is a postdoctoral fellow at the Van Andel Institute whose research investigates how metabolic and epigenetic programs shape dendritic cell function. She earned her PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Michigan, where she developed a strong foundation in chemical biology and translational research. Her current work focuses on defining how metabolic pathways, nutrient availability, and chromatin regulation influence dendritic cell activation, immune tolerance, and communication with T cells in the contexts of infection, inflammation, and autoimmunity. By integrating immunology, metabolomics, and mechanistic perturbation approaches, Mya aims to identify actionable pathways that can be leveraged to restore immune balance and advance new therapeutic strategies.
