Matous Voboril
I pursued my Ph.D. studies at the Institute of Molecular Genetics in Prague in Dominik Filipp’s laboratory, where I focused on unraveling the mechanisms of immune tolerance. I then joined Kristin Hogquist’s laboratory at the University of Minnesota, USA, for my postdoctoral training, where I studied the role of inflammatory mediators in thymic T cell selection. During my postdoctoral work, I developed a strong interest in dendritic cells, inflammation, and T cell tolerance.
In 2025, I became a principal investigator and assistant professor in the Department of Cell Biology at the Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague.
